HOLD ON! whats textures and meshes? well textures are pretty much the color of a 3d object and meshes are like the actual 3d object.
Modders by stating that if you share their content on other than the nexus IT IS STEALING! =(, but its not.why? because textures and meshes where not originally the modders assets to beging with. when steam had a PAY FOR MODS system like this one most but not all modders at the nexus who had great content ended up trying to get a quick buck so they stopped updating mods on the nexus and would only update their alreadyexisting and new mods on steam because they would make a profit from each payment they got thus holding mods at ransome, it was PAY UP OR GET SCREWD!ī) Why is this happening again? Well here is where it getsa dicie =/ most modders at the nexus claim false/non existant copyright licences or claws. Remeber when steam had a system for modders to get paid for thier content and help grow the community? remeber how toxic it was? = Same deal
Now on a serious note about this tragedy of a pay for mods system, who is to blame for this.Ī) who is the main responsible person for this cashgrab? The modders at the nexus (not all). Nexus mod manager tracks and lets you know when to update mods.
